About NAF Neunkirchener Achsenfabrik
NAF Neunkirchener Achsenfabrik AG has been manufacturing drive components for heavy self-propelled vehicles since 1960: rigid axles, steering axles, bogie axles (tandem axles), portal bogie axles as well as transfer and two-motor transmissions. The products are based on a modular system from which customer-specific drive solutions are configured for forestry machinery, agricultural machinery, construction machinery, mining machinery, material handling vehicles, airfield vehicles and off-road heavy transport. Manufacturing takes place at the headquarters in Neunkirchen am Brand on 28,000 m² of production space in one-piece flow by skilled workers; castings (EN-GJS 10–700 kg, EN-GJL 10–1000 kg) and gear parts are purchased. The R&D center in Munich develops new drive solutions with around 5% of annual revenue. The family-managed company (Weyhausen-Sauer Group) employs 600 people, 80% of them in production, and exports 80% of its products worldwide.
