About Nalique
Nalique is a small manufactory based in Frankfurt am Main that produces handcrafted dog collars, leashes and guide harnesses. All products are individually made to order and to customer measurements; no stock goods are offered. The main material used is BioThane®, a water-repellent, UV-resistant and mould-resistant plastic. The fittings are offered depending on the product variant in stainless steel (AISI304), pure brass or coated steel or zinc alloy; add-on parts such as buckles, sliders and loops are made of plastic. The company emerged from the owner's personal search for suitable accessories for her dog, and it donates one euro per item sold to changing animal welfare organisations. In addition to production, Nalique offers personal advice and individual quotations for customised desired combinations.

Water-repellent, UV-resistant and mould-resistant plastic as the base material for collars, leashes and guide harnesses.
Stainless steel (rust-resistant)
Maintenance-free, rust-free fittings that are particularly suitable for use at sea or in salt water.
Brass (pure brass)
Durable fittings with a characteristic patina, rust-free and extremely durable.
Steel or zinc alloy (coated, black)
Lightweight black fittings for a plain look; the coating may show signs of wear due to friction.
Plastic (buckles, sliders, loops)
Components for harnesses, e.g. plastic buckles with defined load capacity specifications.

Safety & Load Capacity
All chicago screws are fixed with high-strength threadlocker; defined load capacity values (e.g. stainless steel carabiners 220 kg) are documented for fittings and components. Customers are advised to check the fittings regularly.
