About nanoFaktur
nanoFaktur GmbH specializes in piezo actuators, sensor technology, actuator technology and nano-positioning based on solid-state elements. Development and production take place at the headquarters in the Technologie Park Villingen in Villingen-Schwenningen. The mechanics are designed using finite element methods (FEM), while flexures and solid-state joints are manufactured by electrical discharge machining. Piezo stack actuators are laminated, co-fired as a whole and manufactured with µm-precise electrode definition. The portfolio is complemented by in-house control electronics with digital controllers (closed-loop), drivers (open-loop), highly dynamic switches as well as OEM boards and software. The products achieve resolutions in the sub-nanometer range and are used in microscopy, photonics and optics, laser and metrology technology, valve technology as well as big science applications, where finest precision or high dynamics are required. The materials used are piezo ceramics, stainless steel and aluminium. In addition to standard products, the company offers OEM and custom developments as well as certification of systems.
