Nanotec Electronic GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Feldkirchen near Munich, has been developing and producing motors, controllers/drives and linear actuators for high-quality drive solutions since 1991. The portfolio comprises stepper motors, brushless DC motors (BLDC) and smart servos with integrated controller, motor controllers, planetary gearboxes, hollow rotary tables, wheel drives, brakes, encoders and the NanoLib software library (C++, C#, Python, fieldbus). Fields of application include automation technology, laboratory automation, medical technology, the packaging industry, semiconductor manufacturing and service robotics/AGV. The development department and small-series production are located in Feldkirchen and in Varna (Bulgaria), while large-series production takes place at the company's own plant in ChangZhou (China) with further processing in Feldkirchen. A sales office in Auburn, MA (USA) as well as sales partners in numerous countries complete the international network. In 1996, Nanotec brought the first Plug & Drive motor with integrated controller to market; in January 2026, the company received the TOP 100 seal for innovative medium-sized companies for the fourth time.
