About NEI
National Electrical Industries Co. LLC (NEI) was founded in 1997 and is a member of the Ali Mirza Group. The company manufactures electrical switchgear for power distribution, instrumentation and control engineering – from low-voltage switchboards in Form 2 and Form 4 construction (up to 6300 A / 220 kA) to medium-voltage switchgear (33 kV, 11 kV, 6.6 kV, 3.3 kV) as well as capacitor banks, motor feeder units, AMF and synchronisation panels, distribution boards and feeder pillars. Manufacturing comprises four areas: a component manufacturing unit with its own injection moulding station for MCB, MCCB and RCCB components made from flame-retardant electrical thermosets, a sheet metal fabrication and coating centre with CNC machines, bending and welding equipment as well as powder coating, an LV and an MV panel assembly line. NEI is a Schneider partner (Prisma TT and Blockset) and, as a component manufacturer, produces MCCBs, MCBs, RCCBs and distribution boards to its own design. Customers include electricity utilities, the Ministry of Defence and the oil and gas industry; exports go to the Arab world.

Quality and Certification
All switchgear is type-tested to current IEC and BSI standards, including internal arc tests; MCCBs are tested at ASTA (UK) and CESI (Italy). Microprocessor-controlled test equipment with multi-parameter data acquisition is used for calibration and quality inspection; the QM system is certified to ISO 9001:2015.
