Navitec Systems is a Finnish software company based in Espoo that has been developing navigation and fleet control solutions for automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) since 1998. The product portfolio includes the Navitrol navigation software, the slimmed-down Navitrol Lite variant for simpler applications, and the Navithor fleet control system (Universal Fleet Control) with VDA5050 support for mixed fleets from different manufacturers. The Natural Feature Navigation works without reflectors and achieves a positioning accuracy of ±1 cm, both indoors and in full 3D outdoor navigation. In addition to software, Navitec offers pre-studies, system design, simulation, integration support, WMS/MES/WCS integration and multi-stage Master Class training. Customers include over 150 active OEM manufacturers with more than 7,000 AGVs and AMRs in operation, particularly in manufacturing and the automotive industry, warehousing, service robotics and hospitals.
