About NB Coir
NB Coir (Pvt) Ltd is a manufacturer founded in 2006 in Kurunegala, Sri Lanka, producing Coco Peat, Coco Coir, Coco Chips and Coir Fiber. The company processes carefully selected Sri Lankan coconut husks into compressed growing substrates, including Grow Bags, 5-kg and 25-kg compressed blocks, Briquettes (250–650 g), Planter Bags, seeding discs and fiber bales up to 25 kg. With four own factories and an annual capacity of more than 400 containers, NB Coir supplies commercial growers, importers, distributors, greenhouse operations, nurseries and potting soil manufacturers in over 40 countries. Products can be customized to customer requirements, for example chip size (sieve sizes 25/19/12/6/1 mm), EC level (Low EC below 500 µS, High EC above 1000 µS, super washed, buffered), moisture, mix ratio of peat and chips and packaging; OEM and private-label manufacturing is offered. The main plant in Kalugamuwa, on a 2-acre site, employs more than 100 skilled staff.

Coco Peat (Coco Pith)
Primary raw material from coconut husks for compressed blocks, Grow Bags, Briquettes and Discs with high water-holding capacity and aeration.
Coco Chips / Husk Chips (7–20 mm)
Structural additive for an airy substrate, also available as a 100% chips block (4.5 kg) for China export.
Coir Fiber (Mix Fiber Bales)
Coconut fiber in bales for horticulture, soil improvement, erosion control and animal bedding.
EC Adjustment (Low EC / High EC / Super washed / Buffered)
The salt content of the substrate is adjusted according to application between below 500 µS and above 1000 µS.
