NBB Controls + Components GmbH develops and manufactures digital safety radio remote controls for machinery and cranes. Founded in 1977 as NBB Nachrichtentechnik GmbH + Co. KG in a small workshop in Pforzheim, the company delivered its first radio remote control to the forestry sector in the same year. In addition to standard versions, NBB develops custom versions to application readiness and manufactures them in series. The systems are dust-tight and water-protected (protection rating IP65) with an emergency horn or emergency call function on the transmitter as well as outputs for emergency call systems on the receiver. Main applications lie in forestry and municipal technology, on cranes and machinery, including winches, stump grinders, chipper carts, suction and flushing vehicles, scrap balers, as well as slope mowing and mulching equipment.
