About neoLASE
neoLASE GmbH is a laser manufacturer based in Hanover offering industrial and scientific solutions from continuous-wave to ultrashort laser pulses. The company manufactures compact industrial short-pulse laser systems, custom laser solutions, OEM laser components and solid-state-based laser amplifiers for scaling average power or pulse energy. A modular photonics platform allows different laser oscillators to be integrated and applications such as cutting, drilling and welding to be implemented precisely; systems with different pulse durations and output powers can be integrated into compact laser heads or realized as plug-&-play combinations. neoLASE was founded in 2007 as a spin-off from the laser development department of the Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. and has been part of AMS Technologies since 2024. Customers come from industry, science and photonics, ranging from material processing to gravitational wave detection and atmospheric observation.

Technologies & System Platforms
Yb-based solid-state laser amplifiers
neoYb amplifier systems scale average power or pulse energy, e.g. 100 W/500 µJ at <700 fs or 40 W/40 µJ at <400 fs.
neoMOS MOPA systems
MOPA laser systems with parameters such as 70 W/3 mJ at 1–50 ns or 1.2 mJ at 1 kHz and <10 ps at 2 µm wavelength.
Industrial short-pulse laser systems (neoVAN)
Compact short-pulse laser systems on standardized platforms, e.g. 195 W single-frequency or 32 W/8 mJ at <5 ns.
