NICO GmbH Maschinen & Anlagen Konstruktion is an engineering office and manufacturing service provider in Berlin-Adlershof and, since 2017, part of the Ahlberg Metalltechnik group. The company develops and designs machines, enclosures, acoustic enclosures and complex sheet-metal assemblies, and calculates strength and deformation using FEM simulation as well as flows using CFD. In addition, NICO designs and manufactures progressive dies, punching and bending tools, clamping, assembly, welding and testing fixtures, gauges, and partially and fully automated loading, marking and welding systems. In its own manufacturing, models, individual parts, prototypes and small series are produced according to drawings, datasets or volume models on CNC machining centres including milling, turning, EDM, grinding and laser technology; NICO is also a contract manufacturer for centreless cylindrical grinding. The scope of services includes standards-compliant design documentation, spare-parts catalogues, operating manuals and CE declarations of conformity. Customers include companies from the automotive industry, mechanical engineering, medical technology, and the electrical and energy industries.
