NIUTEC AG, based in Winterthur, is an independent private service laboratory for chemical analysis, methodology and development. It was founded in 2000 by four chemists from Sulzer's central R&D laboratory through a management buy-out and offers routine and specialised chemical analysis services for the fields of industry, environment and medical technology. In addition to analysis, its service portfolio includes the development of individual solutions as well as advice on selecting the appropriate analyses. All work is performed within a quality management system according to ISO 9001 and an accreditation according to ISO 17025. According to the company, customers benefit from short turnaround times, flexible tailoring of the analytical approach, clearly structured test reports and direct contact with subject matter experts.
