NOMA specializes in the design, manufacturing, assembly as well as service and maintenance of industrial gearboxes. The company develops special gearboxes of every design – including spur gearboxes, bevel gearboxes, bevel-spur gearboxes, transmission gearboxes and worm gearboxes – including gearbox and gear tooth calculations as well as gearbox peripherals such as torque arms and drive elements. The entire production process from raw part to finished end product takes place in-house; in addition, gearboxes are manufactured to external designs as well as drive elements as contract manufacturing based on drawings or samples. For gearboxes from Jahnel-Kestermann, Ekato and SMS group, NOMA has taken over design and manufacturing in many cases since the mid-1990s. The team comprises employees from three generations and offers worldwide service, maintenance and repair – including for third-party manufacturer gearboxes – with 24h emergency service in the event of production stoppages.
