About NordAlu
NordAlu GmbH, headquartered in Neumünster (Schleswig-Holstein), has been active in aluminium processing since 1899 and specialises in extrusion profiles and CNC-machined precision components. On a 7-inch extrusion press with 18 MN pressing force, profiles weighing 0.1 to 5.0 kg/m and lengths up to 13 metres are produced; approximately 7,500 tonnes of aluminium are processed annually. In the company's own workshop, CNC machining is performed (5-axis long-bed machining up to 6,600 mm, 3-axis for parts from 10 to 3,000 mm), surface finishing through anodising and powder coating, as well as assembly of components and complete units including logistics solutions. Upon request, CO₂-reduced aluminium alloys are used. Customers include, among others, the transport and mobility sector (automotive, rail, aviation), construction and architecture, mechanical engineering, solar technology, medical technology, electrical engineering as well as the sports and leisure sector. In addition to its headquarters, the company maintains a representative office in Athens with Nordalu Hellas.
