About NOVO-TECH
Founded in 2005, NOVO-TECH Trading GmbH & Co. KG produces the polymer-bound wood material GCC (German Compact Composite) with a natural fibre content of up to 75% at its Aschersleben site. From in-house compounded granulates, the patented extrusion process creates decking boards, façade panels, fencing elements and construction timber for durable outdoor use; in addition, natural fibre compounds are processed by injection moulding and large-format 3D printing. The group consolidates the entire value chain at one site: compounding, extrusion, injection moulding, toolmaking, metalworking (CNC milling, turn-milling, wire EDM, punching and press-brake technology) as well as plant and special machinery engineering. The materials used are PEFC-certified wood fibres from residual wood of the planing and sawmill industry, recycled HDPE and up to 30% recycled synthetic resin, among other sources from wind turbine rotor blades. With around 160 employees and a production capacity of approximately 35,000 tonnes per year, NOVO-TECH supplies markets in landscaping, façade construction, structural timber construction, sports ground construction and the food industry.

GCC HARZart (with up to 30% recycled synthetic resin)
Wood material with at least 50% wood content whose synthetic resin component comes, among other sources, from recycled wind turbine rotor blades.
Recycled HDPE
Serves as the polymeric binder that holds the natural fibres together in the compound.
PEFC-certified wood/natural fibres
Chips from residual wood of the planing and sawmill industry as the main raw material, with no felled trees.
Recycled synthetic resin (among others from wind turbine rotor blades)
Raw material component for GCC HARZart and R&D projects for material recycling of GFRP.
Steel and special steels
Material for tools, punching and assembly parts in the in-house tool and plant engineering.
Stainless steel
Milled, turned and punched parts such as detent clips, clips and connector elements.
Non-ferrous metals and plastics
Machined as contract manufacturing on CNC milling machines and turn-milling centres.

Additional services
Quality and certification
The entire production is monitored by independent testing bodies (ISO 9001, ISO 50001, PEFC, Cradle to Cradle Gold incl. Material Health Platinum). In the in-house laboratory, raw materials and ongoing production are continuously tested; a QUV accelerated weathering device simulates long-term weathering, and the EPH Dresden certifies toy safety in accordance with DIN EN 71-3.
