Nowack Maschinenbau GmbH, based in Ilmenau (Thuringia), develops and implements custom automation solutions for manufacturing companies. The focus is on the automation of technological processes: the company plans, designs, manufactures, assembles and commissions special machinery and offers subsequent service from a single source. Its range of services includes jigs and fixtures, manual workstations, feeding, transport and handling devices, sorting and packaging systems, furnace loading and unloading systems, palletizing systems, assembly and testing machines as well as complex production lines including metrology, control and regulation technology. Integrated processes include laser and arc welding, soldering and brazing, gluing and bonding, dispensing, image processing as well as electrical, mechanical, pressure and leak testing. Reference objects include, among others, dosing robots, leak testing systems, laser welding systems and cable testing machines. The company was founded in 1994 as an engineering office, converted into a GmbH in 2000 and today employs 8 staff, and is also active in apprentice training.
