About nip®

Nürnberg Gummi Babyartikel GmbH & Co. KG is a family business founded in 1932, now in its fourth generation, headquartered in Georgensgmünd in Middle Franconia. Under the traditional brand nip®, pacifiers, bottle teats, baby bottles, drinking cups, baby tableware, teething rings and care products are manufactured. The complete value chain, from the idea through design, mechanical engineering and mould making to production and assembly, takes place at the Georgensgmünd site in a 3,300 m² production hall. Natural latex, silicone, polypropylene (PP) as well as renewable raw materials based on sugar cane, carbohydrates and plant oils are processed using the ISCC Plus mass balance approach. Products are delivered to more than 45 countries. The company employs around 170 staff and is certified to DIN EN ISO 50001; approximately 25 to 30 percent of its electricity demand is generated by its own photovoltaic systems.
