About Nurol Teknoloji
Nurol Teknoloji was founded in 2008 as a subsidiary of Nurol Holding in Ankara and develops and manufactures advanced technical ceramics and ballistic protection systems. The company produces boron carbide (B4C), silicon carbide (SiC), alumina (Al2O3 99.5%) and SiC/B4C hybrid ceramics (60/40) using reaction bonding and direct sintering in high-temperature sintering furnaces with inert gas atmosphere up to 2250 °C. On this basis, the company manufactures hard armor plates, soft ballistics, composite armor, armor for military vehicles and structural ballistic protection for land, air and naval platforms. Production is vertically integrated – from powder processing through sintering to assembly and qualification. Own ballistic testing laboratories accredited by TÜRKAK to ISO/IEC 17025 as well as simulation capabilities (finite element analysis, Split Hopkinson) complement the value chain. Customers include security forces and defense organizations; the company exports to over 65 countries, including several NATO states.

Ceramic Materials and Processes
Boron Carbide (B4C)
Third-hardest known material, density 2.52 g/cm³; produced via reaction bonding and direct sintering for lightweight ballistic armor plates.
Silicon Carbide (SiC)
Manufactured in furnaces with inert gas atmosphere at 2250 °C for personnel, vehicle and structural protection.
Alumina (Aluminum Oxide, 99.5%)
Cost-efficient ceramic in various sizes, geometries and thicknesses for ballistic protection and wear applications.
SiC/B4C Hybrid (60/40)
Hybrid powder with low density (2.8–2.9 g/cm³), sintered at 2050–2150 °C for armor systems, wear plates and nuclear applications.
Composite Materials
Used in soft ballistics, composite armor, ballistic helmets (STANAG 2920) and armor solutions for aviation platforms.
