OAT GmbH specializes in drive and control technology for the wind industry. The company manufactures and markets rotor blade pitch systems (blade pitch systems) for wind turbines from 500 kW to 10 MW. The product portfolio includes, in addition to the pitch system, a Power Management Module (PMM), the Pitch Motion Controller (PMC), motors and encoders, as well as backup systems based on battery and ultracap technology. The systems are based on new servo inverters, AC and compact DC motors, and integrated control functionality, and are designed for permanent use onshore and offshore. According to the company, thousands of OAT pitch control system installations in customer-specific configurations are in operation worldwide. In addition, OAT GmbH offers a test laboratory as well as services in quality assurance and testing. The customer group served comprises wind turbine manufacturers worldwide.
