OCO Ortenauer Gase GmbH is an independent, mid-sized family business in its fourth generation, headquartered in Schwanau-Allmannsweier (Baden-Württemberg). The company fills carbon dioxide, nitrogen and mixed gas as well as propane gas itself and distributes gases in various purity grades and cylinder sizes. Its core business is supplying the catering industry, beverage trade and brewing industry with carbon dioxide and mixed gas cylinders; in addition, dry ice, technical gases, heating gases and medical gases are offered. Under the sodaO brand, CO2 cylinders including BIO/BIOGEN carbon dioxide are sold via the online shop. Delivery is carried out with the company's own vehicle fleet; self-collection at the site is possible. The team of around 30 serves more than 10,000 customers, mainly in Germany.

- 1960er
In the mid-60s, Ernst Siefert sen. built up a small carbon dioxide distribution business as a side business in cooperation with the then Rheinische Kohlensäurewerke AG from Eyach.
- 1970er
In the mid-70s, changeover to the then TV Kohlensäure GmbH from Ludwigshafen.
- 1980
As of 01.01.1980, the distribution business was transferred to Ernst Siefert jun. and Helmar Siefert; renaming to OCO GmbH, both became managing partners; construction of a warehouse and own carbon dioxide filling facility at Schlehenweg 5-7.
Continuous expansions: expansion of the product range to include dry ice and all gases in various purities and cylinder sizes.
- 2003
Acquisition of the shares of TV Kohlensäure GmbH; Ernst Siefert jun. left the management; Helmar Siefert became sole shareholder; Marco Siefert was appointed managing director.
- 2006
Commissioning of the nitrogen and mixed gas filling facility.

Commissioning of the nitrogen and mixed gas filling facility (mentioned again according to the website).
