About Odenwald Quelle
Odenwald Quelle GmbH & Co. KG is a family-owned company in the mineral water industry headquartered in Heppenheim in the Odenwald region. The company bottles natural mineral water from its own deep well and the Finkenbach spring, as well as juice schorles, lemonades, cola variants and sports drinks based on it. Bottling takes place in one-way PET bottles and reusable glass bottles; since 2020 the PET bottles are made entirely from recycled material and are part of a closed bottle-to-bottle recycling loop. Production comprises PET and glass bottling lines as well as an adjacent logistics centre with electric forklifts; the power supply is covered in part by the company's own photovoltaic system. Customers are retailers and the gastronomy sector in the region. Product quality is monitored by internal laboratories and external testing bodies and is regularly awarded the DLG gold medal by the German Agricultural Society (Deutsche Landwirtschaftsgesellschaft e. V.).
