OELZE Präzisions-Messzeugfabrik GmbH from Aschaffenburg manufactures precision measuring instruments and components made from hard rock (granite) as well as from metal. The standard program includes hard rock measuring plates with accessories, measuring straight edges, 90° squares, precision measuring tables, clamping angles and clamping cubes made from grey cast iron as well as prism pairs. In addition, the company realizes special constructions made from granite – base bodies, assemblies and components for precision and special machines, in one example up to 6500 x 2580 x 2600 mm and approx. 17000 kg with mounting surface accuracies below 0.005 mm. Processing includes sawing, grinding of the side surfaces and lapping of the surfaces; tolerances for flatness, parallelism, squareness and roundness are possible from 1.5 μ (grade 000). All measuring plates are delivered with traceable test certificates. In addition, OELZE offers a mobile on-site service for calibration, rework and refurbishment of measuring table plates and hard rock products as well as cleaning and care products. Customers come from mechanical engineering, precision metrology, testing/inspection and assembly and control technology. The family-owned business is run in the 4th generation and trains its employees itself.
