About 7gün
Özcan Getränke GmbH produces and distributes ayran under the 7gün brand — the traditional Turkish yogurt drink made from yogurt, buttermilk, water and salt — as well as fruity ayran varieties with cherry, mango and lime-ginger. Founded in Berlin in 1989, the company was the first manufacturer and distributor of ayran in Germany and is today one of the leading ayran producers in the country, with a market share of around 80 percent in Berlin. In addition to ayran, the product range includes yogurt in retail sizes from 1 to 10 kg as well as original Berlin sauces such as Hot, Garlic, Herb and Samurai Sauce, ketchup and mayonnaise. The GmbH also distributes partner brands such as French fries, poultry products, frying oil and cheese. Ayran production takes place at the company's own site at Rauchstraße 55 in Berlin; delivery to the food service and retail sectors is handled by the company's own fleet with modern refrigeration technology and delivery without interruption of the cold chain. Via distribution partners, the products are available in Germany, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, Lithuania and Bulgaria.
