About OHLRO Hartschaum
OHLRO Hartschaum GmbH is a family-run company in its second generation, founded in 1991 and based in Strausberg (Brandenburg). The company manufactures transport containers and packaging made of expanded polystyrene (EPS), known as Styrofoam or airpop®. The product range includes thermoboxes and shipping boxes, cooling and transport containers, cake boxes, fresh fish and smoked fish boxes, salmon shipping boxes, pharmaceutical packaging (MediBag, MediSafe, MediSecuret), gift packaging as well as the Florangerie for overwintering potted plants. In addition, the company develops special shapes and customised packaging solutions in which the material thickness is adapted to the weight and sensitivity of the goods being transported. Products are sold via an integrated online shop with no minimum order, a factory outlet in Strausberg and packaging personalisation. Customers come from the food and pharmaceutical industries, laboratories, electronics shipping, the fish industry, delicatessen retail as well as gastronomy and private customers.
