OK Befestigung GmbH & Co. KG was founded in February 2003 and develops and manufactures quality products for fastening in construction. A key focus is direct fastening onto steel and concrete; since its founding, the company has evolved into the technology leader for fuel cells for gas-powered nailers. The high-pressure fuel cells feature certified pressure vessels and valves and are operated with a specially cleaned propane/butane gas mixture that can be reliably used between -15°C and +50°C. The entire product range includes packs with fuel cells and nails for all common nailers, standard nails in lengths from 15 mm to 58 mm, and premium nails of greater hardness from 15 mm to 32 mm, complemented by cleaners and fully synthetic lubricating oil for tool maintenance. All manufacturing takes place on fully automated production lines with continuous product inspection at the Kempen site; the administration is located in Krefeld.
