Our Story

Olio Aquino is a fourth-generation family business, rooted in Sicilian agriculture for generations. It produces cold-pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil, primarily from the traditional Sicilian Biancolilla variety, complemented by a proportion of Nocellara olives. The olives are hand-picked and gently cold-pressed on the day of harvest to preserve purity and freshness. Cultivation takes place without the use of harmful pesticides, in harmony with nature and tradition. The olive groves are located in the fertile land around Mount Etna, whose nutrient-rich soil and mild climate offer ideal growing conditions. The oil is available only in limited quantities and is distributed throughout Switzerland – personally within a 50 km radius, by post, or for collection at the address in Watt. The range is complemented by limited, handcrafted ceramic bottles from Caltagirone.
