About Onduline

Onduline was founded in 1944 by Gaston Gromier and manufactures lightweight roofing systems made from recycled cellulose fibers and bitumen. The product range includes the corrugated sheets of the ONDULINE Systems, underlayment sheets (ISOLINE), bitumen roofing shingles (BARDOLINE), waterproofing membranes (BITULINE) as well as translucent and opaque roofing and facade sheets made of polyester and polycarbonate (ONDUCLAIR). A process patented in 1984 for pre-pigmentation prior to bitumen impregnation characterizes the production of the cellulose-bitumen sheets. The sheets contain between 45 and 51 % recycled material. The group is active in over 100 countries, employs around 800 staff and has been part of the Kingspan Group since 2022. Headquarters are in Suresnes near Paris; a production plant exists in Pasuruan (Indonesia), with further industrial sites among others in Malaysia, Spain, Poland, Brazil and Turkey.
