About OPERA
OPERA is a manufacturer of extractor hoods (wall-mounted, island, ceiling and built-in hoods) as well as cooktops and vented hobs with integrated extraction. The brand combines Italian product design with manufacturing at its German headquarters in Ötisheim (Schlattstraße 59). All extraction systems are manufactured in the company's own plant – from steel processing through welding and satin surface finishing to assembly, testing and packaging. The main material is stainless steel; the cooktops use European-manufactured glass ceramic (polished or with a brushed effect), complemented by a wide range of surface coatings in glossy or matte finishes. The team comprises mechanical and electronics engineers as well as product designers; product development is carried out in collaboration with component suppliers, based on feedback from dealers, chefs and service centres. Sales contacts exist via the Alluance Group in Genemuiden (Netherlands) and the authorised distributor DITEH TRADE EVOLUTION doo in Belgrade (Serbia). In 2024, OPERA was awarded the iF DESIGN AWARD.
