About Opsytec Dr. Gröbel
Opsytec Dr. Gröbel GmbH develops and manufactures industrial UV metrology: UV sensors for UVA, UVB and UVC, radiometers and spectral radiometers for measuring irradiance and UV dose, UV LED systems and area emitters, UV irradiation chambers as well as custom integrating spheres with diameters from 25 mm to 2.5 m. Development, manufacturing, the calibration laboratory and the testing laboratory are located at the Ettlingen site near Karlsruhe; the in-house manufacturing depth extends to in-house metalworking, enabling one-off parts, small series and long-term OEM repeat deliveries with customer branding. In addition to standard products, custom system sensors, special housings, optical systems and special machines are produced. The company's own calibration laboratory is accredited by DAkkS in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 and calibrates UV sensors and radiometers in the spectral range 200 to 1000 nm traceable to PTB. Fields of application are UV curing, UV adhesive bonding, UV disinfection, pharmaceutical photostability, materials testing, photochemistry and 3D printing. The technological roots reach back to 1981.
