About us
Optik & Hörakustik Harbauer is a sole proprietorship based in Lauterbach (Hesse) and has been supporting its customers in the fields of vision and hearing for over 80 years. The company operates two specialist stores: an optometry store on Bahnhofstraße and a hearing acoustics specialist store on the market square. Its services include the creation of personal vision profiles, spectacle lens determination taking into account the dynamics of both eyes, contact lens fitting as well as hearing analyses and the provision of hearing systems for adults and children. In the field of eye measurement, the company relies on ZEISS technology such as i.Profiler®, i.Polatest® and VISUFIT 1000 as well as ZEISS i.Scription® technology for more intense color brilliance, higher contrast and best night vision. Both areas have their own workshop for hearing aid acoustics and optometry. The six-person team is led by owner Alexandra Schneider-Rockel, a master optometrist and hearing aid acoustician. Contact lenses are individually fitted as ultra-thin plastic lenses.
