ORAFOL Europe GmbH, headquartered in Oranienburg, is a company specialized in the manufacture and refinement of polymer films. At Industriepark Nord, self-adhesive graphic products, reflective materials and industrial adhesive tapes are produced on a site covering more than 250,000 m². Manufacturing processes include multi-layer sputter coating of polyester films (PET) as well as cleanroom production of solar protection films in Hall 10, including the spectrally selective solar protection film ORAGUARD® HelioShield. The company is organized into the divisions Material Solutions (Graphic Solutions, Reflective Solutions, Functional Films) and Industrial Solutions (Adhesive Tape Systems, Advanced Polymer Films) as well as other global units such as Automotive Graphics and Optic Solutions. ORAFOL employs around 2,900 staff at 24 locations on five continents with 16 subsidiaries and supplies customers in industries such as traffic signage, visual communication, architecture, automotive and optics. The family-owned company has been led by Dr. Holger Loclair since 1987.
