About us

ORBIT GmbH Antriebstechnik, based in Wolfenbüttel, has offered a broad programme of components and systems for mechanical drive technology since 1996. The range includes flexible couplings (spiral, bellows, disc, elastomer, Oldham, spring-grid and high-speed couplings with torques from 0.02 to 65,000 Nm), Securmax series safety couplings as slip, overload and release couplings, rigid couplings (Torqmax) for bores from 3 to 120 mm, shaft clamping rings (Clampmax) from 3 to 150 mm as well as GLEASON spiral-toothed bevel gearboxes of the Gearmax series up to 60 Nm. In addition, stainless steel drive components for corrosive environments and hygiene requirements as well as custom drive solutions and individually adapted intermediate shafts are available. As an impartial service provider, the company works with renowned manufacturers and supports customers in product selection via a product finder and an online shop with configuration options, e.g. for bore dimensioning. Customers include industries such as mechanical engineering, metrology and testing technology, food, pharmaceutical and vacuum technology, medical and laboratory technology, handling, forming and conveying technology as well as process technology.
