About us

Orgelbau Lenter GmbH is an organ building workshop in Großsachsenheim in Baden-Württemberg. The family business, founded in 1999, looks after pipe organs from new construction through restoration and conversion to harmoniums and free-reed instruments, as well as tuning, maintenance and voicing. Central areas of work, alongside the classic slider windchest, are valve-chest (Registerkanzelle) systems, in particular the mechanical and pneumatic cone valve chest, whose mechanical systems have been continuously refined for new construction. The company is familiar with the historical developments from the Baroque to the orchestral organ of the late Romantic period; the connection to the former E. F. Walcker workshop in Ludwigsburg remains a focus of its work to this day. Customers are churches and congregations as well as heritage conservation authorities.
