The company was founded in 1946 in Meissen near Minden and is now based in Hille. The portfolio includes portable and stationary sampling systems, including the ATEX-certified NEMO series for use in explosive atmospheres (Zone 1/2), multi-channel transmitters and data loggers with transmission to ORIMcloud. In addition, ORI offers measurement and sampling campaigns as a service, ranging from device rental and complete measurement campaigns to 24/7 sewer monitoring 'Live Sewer' with AI-based anomaly detection and the iSampling method for combined time-weighted and event-triggered sampling. Target groups are wastewater and sewer service providers, municipalities, drainage authorities, government agencies and industrial wastewater monitoring. Since 2007, ORI has had a quality assurance system certified by TÜV Nord for the development, production and distribution of ATEX/IECEx devices in accordance with Directive 2014/34/EU.

Quality & Certification
Since 2007, ORI has had a fully integrated quality assurance system certified by TÜV Nord for the development, production and distribution of ATEX/IECEx devices and protective systems in accordance with Directive 2014/34/EU. Rental devices are tested, calibrated and delivered ready for use; laboratory analyses are carried out by accredited partner laboratories.
