About Bögelein
Orthopädietechnik Bögelein GmbH & Co. KG is a family business founded in 1907 in Kipfenberg, now run in its fourth generation. For over 40 years, the focus has been on orthopedic shoemaking: the company produces orthopedic custom-made shoes in pure craftsmanship, orthosis shoes, stabilizing shoes, anti-varus shoes as well as relief and bandage shoes. The range is complemented by insole fittings in various designs (soft foam, wood-leather, cork-wood-leather and carbon technology), shoe modifications such as shortening compensations, elevations, rolling aids and lowering as well as special fittings for diabetics and rheumatism patients. In 1990, the business was expanded to include orthopedic technology and a medical supply store with a branch in Beilngries. Fittings are carried out in coordination with physicians and therapists within the regional and supra-regional healthcare network. The quality management system is certified to DIN EN ISO 13485.
