About OSWALD Elektromotoren

OSWALD Elektromotoren GmbH solves individual drive tasks for industry, energy and mobility. The family-owned company with a tradition spanning more than 100 years, now in its 4th generation, develops and produces custom motors at its Miltenberg site in Bavaria: torque, synchronous, asynchronous and linear drives. Manufacturing encompasses machining and laser technology, 3D printing, coil manufacturing and robotics with a high level of in-house production depth. Electrical and mechanical design is carried out using a modular system with any number of poles, round or flat wire, tooth-coil or distributed windings, and water, oil or air cooling. In addition, the company is developing superconducting motors and offers a 3D service for reverse engineering, scanning and rapid prototyping. Reference customers include, among others, Precision Surfacing Solutions (Meyer Burger), the Karl Mayer Group and Instron. Since 2020, OSWALD has been CO2-neutral and was awarded the German Environmental Prize.
