About us
Otto Horntrich Kunststoffverarbeitungs GmbH is a family-run company headquartered in Kipfenberg with production in Beilngries-Grampersdorf. Founded in 1949, the company today manufactures technically demanding injection-moulded parts made from thermoplastic materials, including injection-moulded parts from 0.1 g to 2300 g with clamping forces of 20 to 650 tonnes. Production runs on 45 injection moulding machines, 12 of them all-electric, all consistently equipped with CNC robotic systems for part removal, insert loading, packaging, palletising, downstream processing and assembly of assemblies. The service portfolio includes plastic injection moulding, two-component processes, overmoulding of insert parts, integrated component assembly as well as finishing by pad printing, ultrasonic welding and thermal transfer printing. Customers come from household appliance technology, electrical engineering, suspension technology and the printing industry. The quality management system has been certified to DIN ISO 9001 since 1999. In addition to contract manufacturing, the company sells its own plastic bobbins directly as the manufacturer.
