About MARTIN
Otto Martin Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG develops and manufactures woodworking machines for sawing, planing, routing and sanding at its Ottobeuren site in the Allgäu region. The product range includes sliding table saws (T66, T77), thickness planers and jointers (T45, T54, T32), tilting arbor and fixed spindle routers (T27, T12) as well as the special Q-Fin sanding machine for wooden window construction. Machine columns are produced as steel-concrete composite constructions, protected as a utility model since 1923, which dampens vibrations. The crucial components are manufactured on the company's own production facilities; every machine leaves the factory only after strict quality controls. The machines process solid wood, panel materials, plastics and light metals such as aluminium. Customers include furniture manufacturing, solid wood processing, window construction, panel and plastics processing as well as trades and industry. With 161 employees, the company founded in 1922 supplies customers in over 70 countries; more than 65% of the machines produced annually leave Germany, with the strongest markets being France, Austria, Great Britain, the USA and Switzerland.
