P. Druseidt Elektrotechnische Spezialfabrik GmbH & Co. KG in Remscheid manufactures highly flexible stranded wires, woven strips, braids and ready-assembled connection elements for electrical power transmission. The product range extends from the smallest ground or earthing strip to high-current cables with a conductor cross-section of 6000 mm², in air-cooled or water-cooled versions. Production uses soft-annealed Cu-ETP 1 (E-Cu) wires according to DIN EN 13602 as well as aluminium Al 99,5, bare or tinned, including woven strips, shielding braids, round stranded conductors, Klüppel stranded conductors and insulated cables with PVC, neoprene or TPE-U. Modern stranding machines and braiding machines with 16 to 48 carriers are available for production. In addition to standard dimensions kept in stock, customer-specific cross-sections and strand constructions are manufactured; the company also offers welding of high-current connections, assembly, technical consulting and warehousing services.
