About PAD Jena

PAD Jena GmbH is a mid-sized company in Jena, founded in 1991, which emerged from the traditional Carl Zeiss Jena combine and the later Jenoptik GmbH. The company manufactures demanding precision turned parts and offers the entire value chain: from concept development and consulting through production and machining to finishing and inspection. Manufacturing includes turning and milling on a modern machine park, with all machinable metals and plastics processed. In addition, PAD offers surface finishing, heat treatment and modern laser engraving on metals. An in-house inspection department with scanning and measuring technology ensures the quality of the manufactured parts. Customers are supported from the sketch to certified inspection, in both prototype and series production.
