About the Palm Group
The Palm Group is a family-owned company founded in 1872, now in its fifth generation, headquartered in Aalen. The company produces corrugated case material as well as testliner and related paper grades based on recycled waste paper fibres in five paper mills. At 33 corrugated board plants, these are converted into packaging solutions such as corrugated boxes and POS displays. The value chain covers the entire process from waste paper recycling through paper production to packaging manufacturing. With around 4,800 employees and annual revenue of 2.0 billion euros (2025), PALM is one of the leading suppliers in the European paper and packaging industry. In 2025, the King's Lynn paper mill (UK) was converted to the production of corrugated case material, and a new corrugated board plant in Alzenau started production.
