About Pankl Turbosystems
Pankl Turbosystems GmbH was founded in Mannheim in 2009 and is an ISO 9001 certified subsidiary of Pankl Racing Systems AG. The company develops, tests and produces innovative charging systems for applications in the fields of motorsport, high performance, commercial vehicles, off-road, aviation and fuel cells. The portfolio includes high-performance exhaust gas turbochargers with wastegate and VTG control, multi-stage charging systems, electrically assisted turbochargers (EAT), electric compressors, turbocompound generators, fuel cell air supply systems (FCAS) and SiC inverters. In addition to complete developments according to the V-model, the company offers engineering services in design and simulation as well as testing services. The technology areas include machining and additive manufacturing; assembly of prototypes and small series is carried out with ERP-managed parts management up to volumes of 10,000 units per year. The site has three test benches for conventional and electric charging systems, a hot gas test bench with battery simulator, and its own materials testing laboratory.
