Papke-Verpackungstechnik GmbH is a packaging manufacturer and service provider based in Mühlheim an der Donau. The company develops and produces custom packaging made of corrugated board, solid board, foam, polystyrene and PE films – from folding cartons, telescope boxes, blanks, die-cut packaging, inserts and mailing tubes to hazardous goods cartons, corrugated wraps and large-volume special packaging. Customers come from a variety of industries. Production takes place at the Mühlheim an der Donau site; solid board and corrugated board packaging have been produced since 1989 and 1991 respectively. As of 01.07.2025, the company took over the business operations of Kartonagenfabrik Schwenningen GmbH, thereby expanding its product portfolio. The company invests in sustainability: three PV systems with a total output of around 725 kWp, a combined heat and power unit and, since 2025, heat pumps with 37 ground probes.

- 1978
Founded on 14.02.1978 by Waltraut and Klaus-Dieter Papke; trading in packaging materials, initial storage capacity limited to a car garage.
- 1981
First office and warehouse building at Birkenweg 6 in Mühlheim.
- 1985
Construction of two two-storey warehouses; renaming to Papke-Verpackungstechnik GmbH.
- 1986
New construction of the company building at Bahnhofstraße 35 with 3,000 sqm (occupied in 1987).

Introduction of solid board packaging production.

Introduction of corrugated board packaging production.
