Manufacturer of films, pouches & bags since 1954
Papuso is a manufacturer of industrial packaging materials based in Solingen. The company produces films, pouches and bags made of LDPE, HDPE, polypropylene (CPP, OPP, BPP) and polybutadiene (BUSOFAN®) on its own extrusion and converting systems. A key focus is on electrically conductive and antistatic films for ESD protection of electronic components, in accordance with DIN 53482 or defined surface and specific resistances. The product range is complemented by industrial papers, corrugated board and grey board boxes, technical adhesive tapes including die-cut parts, as well as stretch films. Services include packaging development with sample production, up to 6-color printing, contract converting/lettershop and just-in-time delivery. Customers are found in the automotive industry, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food and electronics sectors as well as in the rubber and trade fair construction industries. Standard dimensions are delivered from stock within 24 hours, custom-made products usually within 10 working days. In addition to Solingen, there is a film processing site in Hochkirch/Breitendorf and a joint venture (Torbafol Sp. z o.o.) in Chynow, Poland.

Materials & processes
Low Density Polyethylene
Processed films for pouches and bags, mostly produced on in-house extrusion lines.
High Density Polyethylene
Tougher, dimensionally stable polyethylene for technical pouch and bag applications.
Cast Polypropylene
Cast flat film that is slit, rewound and folded into machine films and pouches.
Oriented Polypropylene
Transparent film with high dimensional stability for demanding packaging.
Blown-extruded Polypropylene
Blown into tubing on in-house extruders and further processed like polyethylene.
Polybutadiene (BUSOFAN®)
Thermoplastic elastomer for packaging rubber compounds, co-processable without residue.
Electrically conductive film
Films with surface resistance of 2–4 × 10⁴ ohms for the protection of electronic components.
Antistatic PE film
Pink, blue and transparent films for reducing electrostatic charging in accordance with DIN 53482.
Corrugated board
Boxes and blanks for transport and storage.
Grey board
Board for packaging solutions in various thicknesses and die-cut formats.
Packing paper / oiled paper
Industrial papers as moisture and grease barriers for packaging and intermediate layers.
Technical adhesive tapes (soft PVC, aluminum)
Adhesive tapes for industry, stage and trades including die-cut blanks.
