PAVIS Engineering GmbH is a vendor-independent, medium-sized company for automation technology headquartered in Ravensburg. The company accompanies batch process automation projects from technological consulting and planning through electrical engineering (EPLAN), in-house control panel construction and electrical installation to S88-compliant software development, commissioning and GMP system qualification. Software integration is carried out into leading control systems such as Siemens PCS7, Schneider Electric, Emerson, ABB and CopaData zenon; with proBase, there is a proprietary WINCC-based, S88-compliant solution for smaller plants. PAVIS also offers IoT solutions, MES connections and P&ID platforms such as beerFlow, milkFlow and pharmaFlow as well as the digital automation twin according to MTP (FLOW2MTP). Its main industries are pharma/biopharma, breweries and the beverage industry, dairies and food production, as well as chemicals. Founded in 1993 as an engineering office, the company today employs 45 staff and serves customers worldwide, with locations in Germany, Switzerland, Spain and Colombia and a branch office in India.

PAVIS Engineering GmbH is certified according to ISO 9001, and qualification is carried out on a risk-based basis according to GMP: around 80% of GMP documentation is already created during the FAT phase, supplemented by SAT data. Every control panel undergoes a standardized FAT inspection.

- 1993
Founded by Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Peter Kubalek as a one-man engineering office for hardware and software engineering of process engineering plants.
- 1994
Renamed PAVIS Engineering GmbH by the partners Martin Rau and Peter Kubalek; hiring of the first employee.
- 1997
First projects for breweries and dairies.
- 1998
Eight permanent employees; revenue of DM 2.1 million.
- 1999
First project in the pharmaceutical industry.
- 2003
Move to the company's own building in the Domäne Hochberg near Ravensburg with 950 m² of office and 250 m² of production space.
- 2007
Launch of the water treatment and water disinfection business unit; 15th anniversary and 16 employees.
