About Perceptron
Founded in 1981, Perceptron is one of the pioneers of industrial machine vision. The company develops and manufactures systems for 3D automated inline metrology, enabling components and processes to be measured non-contact and 100% dimensionally directly in production. The portfolio also includes automated solutions for Gap & Flush (gap and flush inspection of assembled components) as well as Robot Guidance for adaptive, near-real-time robot guidance from bin picking to precision placement. Hardware products include the AccuSite and Helix (HelixHD) inline measurement systems; the associated software product line is named Vector. The systems measure, among other things, uncoated metal, painted surfaces, chrome, and glass. The primary focus is the automotive industry, including body shop and battery production. Since 2020, Perceptron has been part of the Atlas Copco Group and, as an industrial metrology expert, belongs to the Machine Vision Solution (MVS) Division under the ISRA VISION brand.
