About us
Peter Schwabe Zerspanungstechnik GmbH is a contract machining company in Wennigsen (Deister) near Hanover. For over 30 years, the company has manufactured individual parts and small batches from steel, stainless steel, aluminium, non-ferrous metals and plastics (company statement, as of approx. 2022). The range of services includes CNC turning up to 1,000 mm diameter and 1,500 mm turning length (smaller diameters up to 1,800 mm length), CNC milling up to 1,600 x 800 mm and up to five axes, die sinking EDM with controlled C-axis, wire EDM, electric, MAG and TIG welding as well as surface grinding to Ra 0.4. A particular strength is rubber mold making: molds for the rubber processing industry are produced to customer specifications or through in-house design using modern 3D CAD-CAM systems. In addition, the company carries out repairs on machine components and rubber molds. Quality assurance is performed in a climate-controlled measuring room with a CNC-controlled 3D coordinate measuring machine from Thome for tactile and scanning measurements.
