Praline manufactory in its third generation
Peters GmbH is a family-run praline and confectionery manufactory in its third generation, based in Lippstadt. Founded in 1936 by master confectioner Franz Peters as an ice cream parlour and café, the company developed from 1975 with its own praline production into a supplier for confectioneries, the food retail trade and major customers such as Lufthansa. The focus is on handmade pralines and truffles, the patented (2008) Pecarée® truffle square, chocolate dragées, as well as sweet tea biscuits and savoury cheese biscuits from the company's own bakery. Products are crafted by master hands using select chocolate varieties, fresh cream, fresh butter and fine liqueurs and brandies, without preservatives or artificial colourings. With more than 100 new recipes annually, the range is continuously developed; products are sold in 31 countries. At the Hansastraße 11 site, the manufactory and bakery produce, complemented by the 200 m² SchokoWelt flagship store opened in 2011 with a glass-walled manufactory and factory outlet.

Quality
Peters processes exclusively select chocolate varieties, fresh cream and fresh butter as well as the finest liqueurs and brandies – without preservatives or artificial colourings. The shorter shelf life (pralines 6 months, Pecarée® and biscuits 5 months, storage at 16–18 °C) is a deliberate mark of quality of the fresh production.
