About phil-vision

phil-vision GmbH, based in Puchheim near Munich, is a systems house for industrial image processing, specializing in the integration of complex machine-vision systems into machines and production lines. The team combines experience in optics, electronics, software development and automation technology and supports machine builders and OEMs with camera-based inspection and measurement systems – from consulting and feasibility studies with illumination tests and system design according to VDI/VDE/VDMA guidelines to programming, turnkey complete solutions, on-site commissioning and training. Fields of application include 2D and 3D inspection, surface and print inspection, dimensional measurement, OCR, track & trace as well as process monitoring with recording systems, partly using deep-learning methods. In addition to system integration, phil-vision develops and sells its own products: recording systems (pvRecord), LED light panels (pvLight), calibration targets (pvCal) and a system for position detection for coin printing (pvPhotobox). Customers come from mechanical engineering, plant engineering, automotive, electronics/semiconductor, printing industry, solar, battery inspection, medical, sports analysis and agriculture. The company was founded in 2017; managing director Gregor Philipiak has been active in image processing since 2010.
