Pikes GmbH, based in Großlöbichau near Jena, has been developing, manufacturing and distributing automation technologies for intralogistics since 2022. The core product is the Warehouse Anywhere system: autonomous mobile robots (AMR) that pick up KLT containers directly from the floor, stack, sort and hand them over specifically to workstations – without classic conveyor technology, racking or structural modifications. In addition, the company offers its own intralogistics and warehouse management software that digitally manages storage locations, inventories and material flows and provides interfaces to ERP and WMS systems. The target group is smaller and medium-sized manufacturing companies; according to the company, commissioning of first transports is possible within 48 hours on existing floors. In addition to hardware and software, Pikes offers consulting services for Industry 4.0, Smart Factory and logistics. A roll-out at a medium-sized manufacturer of vacuum technology is said to have delivered a productivity gain of 30 %.
