About Us
PKS Schaumstofftechnik GmbH (PKS for short, standing for “Projects in Plastics and Foaming Technology”) was founded in 1992 and has been based in Stapelburg in the Nordharz region for over 20 years. The company produces molded foam parts from PUR flexible foam systems (polyurethane) and can manufacture molded and open-cell foam parts with part weights between 40 and 3000 grams. For around ten years, a key focus has been medical technology, producing molded foam parts for a variety of treatment units. In addition, PKS offers toolmaking for foaming tools: on-site measurement, development, new tool fabrication and reworking of existing tools. Larger production runs exceeding the company's own capacity are manufactured together with long-standing partner companies. Since the takeover effective 01.01.2022, the former plant manager Markus Leßmann has continued to run the company.
